Dear Competitors,

We regret to inform you that we need to cancel the wave competition this year due to the lack of funding and support.

We are in the process of changing the organizational structure and will be able to apply for grants for years to come. The grants will help to pay for life guards and first aid including an ambulance. With these vital services, in addition to a solid risk management plan, we will regain the support from our insurance, the town and businesses.

We are really sorry for any inconveniences caused by this cancelation and hope to see you all in the spring of 2010.
